Haunted Lavatory

(read the previous article Stupid village)

A couple of nights ago we were working overtime in the office, by around 9pm we had almost caught up with the workload and my father decided to call it a day. He went to the comfort room to empty his bursting bladder. Since we were the last one out, no other person was around the hallways. Upon reaching the comfort room my father saw the janitor packing up for home, and when the janitor turned and saw the figure of my father approaching, he yelled like mad with this terrified look on his face. When he saw that it was just my father he apologized and all and left. The next day, my father was surprised on how the hell did he scare the living daylights out of that poor guy the last night, it was then our employees told him that there are rumors lately that a certain lady apparition in white wanders the comfort room at night.

Fascinating

My last article was about a movie where the locals-turned-guinea pigs trapped themselves in their village with their backward lifestyle because of some dumb belief. Now I get to see the action for real! Here’s a comfort room being deserted at night because of some paranormal gossip by the janitors. I suppose a same occurrence like this must have inspired Shyamalan to make such a movie. I have to say it is far funnier in real life. And I think that janitor who came up with this crap was smart enough to have thought of a good excuse of skipping work at night.

Perhaps what encouraged such an image amongst the fans of the lady apparition is this recent local movie named after a Chinese practice of house arrangement. A vcd shop around the corner of the comfort room has been playing their copy of this crappy movie all day long, including scenes of a lady in white blankets and overdone cosmetics scaring the hell out of the rest of the cast. By the way I hate this movie too because it makes fun of other people’s culture.
